We braved the crowds and unusually hot day to attend the Maker Faire in the San Mateo Fairgrounds. We saw lots of great things: a solar clock made out of bicycle parts, many fire sculptures, robots, Lego displays, 3D printers, and neat things on wheels. The hands-on displays were best, and it was too much to see in one day. At least we got our money's worth...
