Picnic at the Presidio
While Gina joined her brother Dan for a weekend at the Arnold cabin, I took the kids this windy Sunday afternoon to the Picnic at the Presidio event to meet some friends. Lots of sun, food trucks, green grass to roll around on, and drippy, drippy ice cream.

Southwest corner of US
We visited the southwest corner of the US mainland during the same summer we visited the northwest most corner. It was too hot and dusty and frankly eerie to hike the full mile to the beach, but we placed our feet out as far as we could for the required photograph. Woohoo!
