Getting to Edmonds
A few shots on our drive up and at the waterfront of Edmonds. Nary a snowflake or raindrop in sight!

Decorating Christmas Tree
This was our first tree, which spontaneously fell about three days later. The Christmas spirit could not be dampened easily: Gina insisted that we return the tree to the lot and select a new one. Two hours later, our tree was back up, decorated, and after a few tugs on branches high and low, was deemed secure enough to last the holidays.

Petaluma Christkindlmarkt & Lagunitas
It’s turned into a new tradition (is that an oxymoron?) We head up to Petaluma with friends to shop at the kitchy German hall where the kids get $5, and we hound them to not spend it on candy. Then for the adults, we do lunch at the great Lagunitas tasting garden. Afterwards, Gina kindly reminded me that we spent one hour at the Kindlmarkt and four hours at Lagunitas.
