….hike, of course. With extra time on our hands the past two weeks, and wonderfully cool summer weather, Gina and I headed out for nearby day excursions. Starting at the top photo: we headed out to the Cliff House in SF for breakfast, then hiked along the nearby Lands End trail on a foggy coastal day. On another, sunnier SF trip, we grabbed lunch in the Hayes Valley neighborhood where we had to try the new Smitten ice cream which is made on the spot with liquid nitrogen (yum!) Besides riding our Lafayette trails, we also hiked the loop around the top of Mt. Diablo, and on another day hiked along the North Bay delta in Martinez before trying out their newest smokehouse we had read about.
