Red Skies at Night

For some reason, there are beautiful skies every night right now. Around 7pm every night, we try to get outside in our backyard to watch the fleeting pinks and yellows before they fade into the gray background. We even saw the blood red moon recently, although we were late to the viewing.

Habitat for Humanity birdhouses

While Gina was with Dan attending a wedding in Anaheim, I took the kids to Orinda on Sunday to build birdhouses for Habitat for Humanity. Without any sense of irony, we ended up doing lunch at the Habit -- in Gina's honor since it's her favorite burger spot.
